MVP Patches
After feedback from several players, we have poured through the numbers and have determined fairest way to award MVP patches. Starting this session, we will integrate Top Gun score with Player Performance. To earn Top Gun points, you must play a lot and win a lot. You will receive points according to the skill level of player that you beat. ie., you beat a 6, you get 6 points. Your total points will be multiplied by your win percentage to determine your "ranking." The highest ranking per category will be awarded the MVP patch. We will award three patches per division broken down by skill level groups. You must have played a minimum of seven matches in the session to earn the patch.

Contact us for more details.
Featured Player of the Month
Pat Kiger
It is all about the sportsmanship!
Pat Kiger (front center), pictured with her team Ballz in Hand, has been playing with the APA for thirteen years without a single sportsmanship complaint against her or her team. She was inadvertantly nominated by a member of an opposing team who stated that Pat showed them respect by allowing them to play a player twice at the last minute rather than forcing their team to forfeit. Her attitude and excellent sportsmanship has won her a spot on the home page as the APA Player of the Month! Her philosophy of the game is: "It's all about fun..being a good sport... When it gets too serious and is no longer fun, quit doing it."
Pat will receive a $45 gift certificate to Carrabba's Italian Grill
If you would like to nominate a player for Player of the Month who stands out somehow such as great sportsmanship, knowledge of the rules, great team captain, great teammate, etc., please send you nomination to Shelby Bates.
